The "We are Jose" campaign was a contribution from some students from the University of British Columbia to help raise awareness on the injustice generated by the allegation used to issue a deportation order for Jose Figueroa. The allegation itself doesn't make any sense, and we would had expected that the Minister of Public Safety responded by January 16th, yet that has not happened... So there is not other option but to continue informing the community about it... Thanks to the many people who have shown their solidarity!
La campaña "Somos Jose" fué una contribución de unos estudiantes de la Universidad de Colombia Britanica para ayudar a hacer conciencia sobre la injusticia generada por la alegacion usada para dar la orden de deportación de José Figueroa. La alegación misma no tiene sentido, y hubieramos esperado que el Ministro de Seguridad Publica respondiera por el 16 de Enero; pero eso no sucedió... Asi que la única opción ha sido continuar informando a la Comunidad.... Gracias a las muchas personas quienes nos han demostrado sus muestras de solidaridad!
