Welcome to the Figueroa's immigration ordeal!!!

Canada has been known for many years for its tradition to offer protection to people who have been forced to seek protection against persecution and danger in their homeland! The Figueroa Family is being affected by the immigration laws that have been adopted, by Section 34.1 of the I.R.P.A. to be specific.

This blog has been created with the objective to become a link among the community who still believe in Canada's Tradition and search for alternatives that would allow to make a difference for the defense of individual rights!

We thank you before hand for your opinion and suggestions so that a solution is found!

In behalf of the Figueroa Family and many others whose rights are being affected ... Thanks for your Support!

We are Jose!

Canadians should no be forced to leave!!

What do CBSA misses about the Salvadoran Reality?

Para espanol presione aqui.

January 16th 2011, salvadorans will be celebrating the 19th Anniversary of the signing of the peace Agreement of Chapultepec Mexico... It will be a celebration that will show the world not only the will of salvadorans to protect and consolidate the process of peace; but also their capacity to of compassion for their own brothers, who suffer.   That capacity had it's roots on the work of Archbishop Romero.   This is just a little piece of history that may help CBSA officers have an understanding of salvadoran reality before they judge, and categorize a whole nation....

Standing for human rights and against tyranny and repression cannot be defined as terrorism...  otherwise the whole salvadoran society which stood against a dictatorship would be categorized as terrorists therefore inadmissible into Canada according to the interpertation of section 34.1 of the IRPA...
